D: that sounds unfortunate, especially since reporting things is supposed to be encouraged because it helps us know what needs moderating!
seriously, unless you're routinely reporting posts that don't actually break the rules, reporting is the helpful thing to do.
we don't delete threads on request though...it's sort of like asking for a rewrite of history.
Reporting something will not get you banned, in fact, we encourage using the Report button (correctly)! Us moderators aren't able to read everything that is posted, so if you see something you find inappropriate, use the Report button to tell us so we can fix it. If you make a thread that you want deleted (such as this) because it is immediately unwanted, report it and we will see it.
