Is the mod element NECESSARY? Optional? Does it give extra points? Just a red and yellow brick touching each other or a Q or a red and yellow Q? In EVERY scene or in 1 scene? Can it be hidden? Or does it have to stand out? I'm confused. Please don't post a reply, PM me. It seems like the past 3 pages were spent talking about this.

Yes the mod element in necessary. It shows that this film wasn't previously made before the contest.

EDIT!!!! This makes it much harder for my fight scene. One of my original questions: Can it be in the background where it is there, just hard to see, or does it have to be easy to spot? Can my hero be yellow and red?

Yes.
It has to be in every scene.
That means if you want the camera to move around, that's OK, as long as you do see it in the background now and then, but not in every frame.
UniLego, I'd say that's not allowed. Showing pictures to each other seems like dialogue because you're delivering a message to them.

Would people talking in gibberish like in the Sims count as dialog?
Gibberish talk would be pretty risky. There would be a grey area as far as gibberish is concerned and if you insist on using gibberish you'll have to make that judgment call.
It would be great if people stopped asking the same questions again and again. It took me 15 minutes to read all the posts and most of them were the same questions someone else asked the page before or are listed on the first post. Come on it will make life so much easier for all of us.
