Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

Do you mean when you're animating?

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

It can because I have done it with mine before. You must use the software it came with.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

*Bump* I still can't get 30 fps with my quickcam pro 9k. Can anyone get 30 fps with quickcapture???

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

Don't use quickcapture. Download one of many free frame capture programs that are avalible.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

A quick dose of Monkey Jam will fix this. Go and Google it!

I do not care about your opinion, unless it has to do with it needing more ponies.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

Blacitch if you even bothered to read the post you linked you'll notice
A) I made this thread 6 months before the QCP 9K thread and
B) I have already posted in that thread, but no one has replied.

Peanut Studios my monkey jam won't let me record footage at more than 15fps can you please explain how you increased the framerate?

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

Oh wow, that was another (my 3rd today) special moment...

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

You can get any framerate you want in MonkeyJam; remember that you're shooting one frame at a time, so things aren't live.

In MonkeyJam, go to Settings -> FPS and choose a certain framerate. Then, when you're animating make sure the Hold is on 1 (and not on 2 because that means you're effectively shooting at half the framerate you chose). When you export the .avi file from MonkeyJam, it should be the framerate you chose.

If this doesn't work, you could always import the frames into VirtualDub or VideoMach and export it as a .avi file with a certain framerate from there.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

Sorry, I'm talking about live action, recording video. I'm trying to record video footage at 30fps

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

mini/what Its automatically on 30 or 24 already. What made you think it was 15fps? mini/confused

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

no you don't undertsand i want to film live video at 30 fps not animate!!!

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

Ah, live video. In that case make sure you have a LOT of light around, and of course be hooked up to a USB 2.0 port (as opposed to 1.0). Apart from that there's not much you can do to improve the framerate; webcams aren't really reliable for high framerates when it comes to live video.

Re: Quickcam Pro 9000

As Bertl said use plenty of even light and maybe you could even use the "rightLight" technology:o
