Topic: Minifigure wobble

Every time I animate my minifigures wobble around, is there any way to prevent this?

Look at this and see what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynwiyqwYhgY

Re: Minifigure wobble

Put Blue Tac on the minifigure's legs and stick it on the studs.

Hope it helps!

Legodudz, what music is that? Because it may be the worst music Kevin ever made.

Re: Minifigure wobble

Blue tac should do it.  It looks interesting though.  I've never had animation look that way before.

Re: Minifigure wobble

Well if you have onionskinning on you can tell if the minifigure will wobble or not. If you dont want to do onionskinning, (like me it gets in the way of the mental timing for me) Make the minifigure square to the baseplate each frame.

Re: Minifigure wobble

Your minfigure must have old legs, get it new legs.

Re: Minifigure wobble

sometimes, a Lego minifigures legs can get worn and filed down so the wobble, buy new legs off of Bricklink if they are rare, or find unfiled legs, or you can just use sticky tac.

Re: Minifigure wobble

Agreed. I've had the same problem myself with running sequences, new legs make all the difference, slightly stiff ones are the best, same with arms, but not heads.

I'll be back animating soon! Exams and computer faults are keeping me away </3
