Akinator is an AI that guesses characters based on a 20-Questions type input. He WILL guess your character.
Yes, he guessed Cortana.
It took about 50 questions but it did eventually guess Rocky Rickaby. olol
And then it got Pavel Fyodorovich Smerdyakov, which is a little more impressive since he's from an old Russian novel and is not the protagonist.
Really? I remember when I first tried it, it couldn't have taken more than 30.
But Akinator is awesome.
Some of the comics I read are very niche, yet still this thing gets them. It's pretty great.
I am disappoint, it could not guess Zin Bu the Celestial Accountant, from Jade Empire.
edit: nor a much more prominent character from the game, Chai Ka.
This is old news, but thank you for getting me addicted to it again.
I beat it, but it came close.
It seems to manage protagonists from fairly obscure works fine, though for me it's usually not getting secondary or minor characters from those works.
He didn't get Scott Tracy from Thunderbirds. He thought I meant Captain Kirk... Huh!?
EDIT: I tried Scott Tracy again and got Sulu... Huh?!
I'll try Lady Penelope now. I'm determined to get a character from Thunderbirds.
EDIT: How did I get Tom Paris from Voyager... Huh?!

Hmm, it got Ender Wiggin. I wonder how this things work, exactly. Anyone have any idea?

Ender Wiggin is awesome. 
It couldn't guess Setsuna from Gundam 00. Apparently it's not familiar with the current Gundam series since the closest guess was Heero from Gundam Wing.
It didn't guess Louanne Katraine from Battlestar Galactica but it did guess Racetrack from the same series, then it went way off into Buck Rogers then back to BSG guessing Cally before giving up.
I was thinking Amanda Bynes and it guessed Megan Fox, Parker Posey, and Kristin Wiig.
Conclusion, it's stump-able.

Should work now, there were some entries for him when I tried it and I seem to have merged them and gotten it to where it'll guess him in about 30 questions.
OH MY GOD THIS GUY CORRECTLY GUESSED 'The Sheriff Of Nottingham'. it even had a picture of Alan Rickman.....
And he guessed Richard III, although he didn't guess the T1000 from Terminator 2 (he guessed this really scary looking clown instead- not the Joker) and he didn't get Yor The Hunter from the Future (it got Captain EO for some reason....) - but that's the most obscure I know.
It gets confused when doing characters from the internet, but that's because there are so many. I'm quite impressed....

He got Mumbo from Banjo-Kazooie after 30 questions. This is fun 
Edit: Wow, it got Dyne from Final Fantasy VII. He's a very minor character.
Edit #2: The Announcer from Team Fortress 2 first time. Wow.

And then he guessed Chric McClean after 40 some questions.

He couldn't guess Rocky Balboa or Short Round.
You're doing it wrong. I tried both and he got Rocky on the first guess and Short Round on the second guess.
