Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I remember a few, the one that still scares me the most is the 'Barber' one.

The Barber
This nightmare started out all nice but then it took a turn for the worst. In this nightmare,
it starts out with my mother taking me to the barber shop, once I am there I sit down in the
nice comfy chair and have the barber cut little strands of hair with a scissor. Then it's all done
and my mom just walks out of the building. A towel was over my hair, he takes it off and my hair
is red, and he says it is stained with blood. My mom walks out of the building and I ran after her car,
but he drags me back into the building and shoves me with other children in the back.

That's all I really remember from it. I don't know why it scares me since after all it is really silly, but I
think the fact my mom just walked out and let everything that followed happen is what made it scary for
me.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I have really scary dreams. I don't usually get scared by much, but my dreams are really creepy. I usually thrash around in my sleep when I dream.

Here's an example: once, I dreamed that I was in my bed, and suddenly a car that looked exactly like the car from the second Harry Potter movie broke into my window. The headlights were the eyes, and front trunk thingy (that the engine is in and all that. I forgot what that's called) was the mough with really sharp and large teeth in it. Then I woke up (in my dream) and was trying to get away from it, and it opened it's mouth and bit my legs off with it. Then I woke up right before it would have devoured the rest of it.

It was freaky. I reportedly woke up screaming, but I can't recall it.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

@Kinzcove Ugh. I hate it when that happens. I had a dream almost exactly like that, my mum and I went to an ice cream place, and she told me to wait while she got some sprinkles and then I saw her driving away, so I chased after the car but I couldn't get up. BLOODY TERRIFYING.

I have one that I've been having since I was three. I was one of the 101 Dalmatians, and that creepy woman gave me candy on the moon. Then we flew away on a bicycle, and it ended. (also the sky was green)

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I've grown out of my horrible dreams now, thank goodness. Now my brother sleep walks, scaring the crap out of me whenever he does.

Yeah, my (bad) drams stopped when I was anywhere from 7 to 9 years old. I barely remember any of my recent dreams anymore though. Ever since I stopped having bad dreams, I only remember a few snippets of my more recent dreams, and those I soon forget also.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

Yeah Unilego, a "special" doctor.
That's actually very disturbing.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

Okay, I remember something really funny in one of my dreams.

My friend Kyle and I were on the school bus riding home. I was talking to someone else, and then he calls my name. " Yeah, what is it?" I said. He keeps saying my name louder and louder, and I keep shouting "WHAT?!?", until finally I snapped and screamed "SHUT THE HELL UP!!!". I woke up from that and noticed that it was my older brother saying my name, trying to get me up at 11am. Oops. mini/XD

I do not care about your opinion, unless it has to do with it needing more ponies.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I once had a long dream, my family took me to this toy like wonderland with big trains running across the large room, and toys everywhere, and suddenly two animals attacked me and put me infront of the train so I was hit and hurt. But when I woke up I looked at the side of my dresser. The ladder to my bunk-bed faced the side of the dresser, so I looked at the side of the dresser and I saw bloody marks on the side of it. It could've been just red marks, but I swear it was blood. There was no blood or anything red on my bunk-bed ladder, hands, pillow, blanket, sheets, or face... and I told my parents and they looked and they thought it was really wierd. We just watched it away, and I was like 8 when it happened, I just still wonder what happened. I could've been sleep-walking but then yet again, my hands, face, etc.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I used to have heaps of weird dreams. I can never really remember my dreams nowadays, though. Dunno why.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

Every single one of these could be a great brickfilm.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

Anyone ever realize that they were in a dream (because of how ridiculous everything is) and tried to force yourself to wake up but end up in another dream?  I recalled a rippling effect that transitioned me into another dream.

This is my scariest dream.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

When I watch movies I usually see dreams about them.
When I watched 2012 I saw several world ending dreams.
I have seen also Star Wars dreams like I have force or something.
I have also seen dreams about places I have been and lived.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

Anyone heard of lucid dreaming? It's dreaming when you're aware you're dreaming and your brain is concious. I've been reading up on it, do a google search there are a tonnes of sites on it. I know a couple people who can do it (namely, Scypax) Apparently it's learnable, visit some lucid dreaming sites.

Oh yeah, and you don't dream in the last ten minutes that's stupid, you dream mostly during the REM stage of sleep (rapid eye movement) which happens roughly every 90mins of sleep, with the stage getting longer each time, so you normally remember the longest and most recent one when you wake up.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I had a 3rd person dream once, where I got into a fight with some guy, then got stabbed... I could see my self on the floor shaking and jerking around...

Another dream I had was just too damn wierd...

I was walking down a street, then two nukes shot up into the air..
People were laughing and cheering, then suddenly the nukes began to drop.
They hit, exploded, and sent me flying..

I thought I survived, but then I stood up, and I was in a concrete-ish expanse, with... really, no joke... A life-sized, living version of this:

http://www.myplasticheart.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/stikfas_nurse_tmb.jpg

Then another one was where I was standing on a LEGO baseplate, that was dark all round except the baseplate was lit by lamplight, (Possibly a brickfilm set?) then there was a lego woman standing in front of me, and a lego man with a humans face sitting at a desk.

There was a dizzying swirling noise, and the lego woman was screaming at me saying: "Leo's dead... get out! GET OUT!"

It was wierd and creepy...

Why were both those dreams somewhat toy-related?

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I used to have really creepy dreams, but not anymore.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

I dreamed once I was fighting, so I kicked against a wall in my room while I was sleeping. My foot did hurt.

Re: Dream Discussion Thread

Last night I dreamed the world was ending. This ugly creature (the one in the background mini/tongue) landed downtown. I was barely able to find a car and get across the border to a 'safe house' without getting disentigrated, where I discovered a dozen alien 'babies' waiting to hatch in the front yard.
Took a long while to shake that one off.

I've never had a lucid dream. But I've found that if I will something during a dream really hard, it'll happen. (Thus, the downtown Warrior fell apart and I didn't die last night. mini/lol)

I never plan on buying anything when I go to the Lego Store.
Strangely enough, I always wind up finding something that makes me ditch those plans.

It sounded almost like you just ran through the plot of the most recent big name sci-fi movies mini/lol
