I shall do an explanation video sometime, it was our most clever/complicated story to date, our writer is quite the novelist and maybe the way it was presented and acted made it difficult to determine the plot line

Yeah, this is definetely a film that deserves a review!
Well, i've decided to give this a review; even though its been like a month since release (probably more)
I thought it was really a let down, for some reason, it just didn't satisfy me, the story was complex, but i really didn't like it that much, the CGI was a bit of a let down too, it just didn't fit, the contrast between the stop-motion and CGI was too great. But those weren't the killers, I found that the animation, though fairly good for most of the films, just up and died for parts, some scenes just weren't that great. I also found the pace to be inconsistent and lacking, and that made it more confusing. Some of the set design, animation, editing, and portrayal of ideas definitely made it difficult to understand what was happening or where they were, also, there wasn't enough character development for 30 minutes of film.
Don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable to watch, and I liked it, but I think you aimed to high, and missed the target. This was just too big a project for your abilities, though not like that one guy who made a feature length film at like 8 fps, that was just crazy. This would of been an enjoyable 10-15 minute short, more than it was as a 30 minute feature. To make such a long brickfilm enjoyable to watch multiple times, the standard of quality in the film has to be really high, higher than you can reach at the moment.
All in all, I'd give it a 3.5/5
to be honest, I'm fairly happy with 3.5/5 for a BiM review...
Awesome film, I finnish watching it and couldn't believe I been sitting there for half-an-hour.
I think the sign of a really good longish brickfilm is wether you feel if you've been watching it for thirty mins or so once your finished.

Most sequels may suck (i.e The Pink Panther 2, Inspector Gadget 2), but The Package II: Redherring is unforgettable. One of the best brickfilms of the year, in my opinion. This brickfilm has become legend due to it's unbelievable running time of 35 minutes. However, it is 35 minutes of epicness. Great storyline, great voice actors, great sets...all these things equal one thing: awesomeness.
