I personally like technique better.

I'm in the process of shifting around a bit of the forum distribution, I can't say it won't end up like it was but I had to leave when I was in the middle of something -- it may shift around a bit over the next couple of days, but I'd like to revise it because the current forum divisions have been rather confusing for people, resulting in a lot of moving around threads.

I'd like to clarify that some incarnation of the coffee shop may return, eventually.

The war room was a forum one could request access to.  It focused on politics and other controversial stuff like that.

Well, one part of me is glad that the Coffee Shop is gone. The other part of me really enjoyed being able to chat with other brickfilmers about other stuff that was really causal and not related to brickfilming.

Also, I see that me War Room has disappeared. Was that suppose to happen or did a mod take that away from me? I don't think I did or said anything bad or rude in there.

Yes that was supposed to happen.
EDIT: This has me wondering though, with the Coffee Shop gone, the only place here on BiM to vent our randomness is the chat. Is more effort going to be put into creating a chat especially for BiM, or are we going to be stuck with the Mibbit/Chatzilla for a while.

We've got a big To-Do list, and as far as I know, a new chat is near the bottom (if at all).

(Off topic) Does anyone have a link to a thread describing how to use the chat by the way? I've never really figured it out and it sounds interesting.

You should just be able to click "Chat" on the menu and choose a username, then enter.

On a slight side note (mind you it's still about side changes), Smeagol, is there a reason for changing the forum names and such. For example, the Technique forum was change to the Production forum for awhile. And now there is a post-production forum. Wait was that actually there before? I Don't really remember seeing it.
