I love it how everyone knows that this is nothing but a depressingly desperate attempt at making money. I think Hollywood gone too far with the whole "remake" thing. They better learn a lesson or two here.
EDIT: Oh, it's in 3D? Forget what I just said, I'll pay an extra $7 for a pair of recycled plastic glasses so I can walk out of the cinema with sore eyes.

I live in the same city as the guy who created them... I feel terrible...
Seriously, Hollywood has totally lost the plot. I think they should stop rehashing old crap into new crap and just look at the small independent films that have been made recently that have been shot on a fraction of the budgets this (insert you own expletive here) type of film was made on and these small studio films have often gone on to make massive profits.
There are some amazing new directors and screen writers out there, I think it is time some of these old dinosaurs are dropped and these new guys given a chance.
