Made that in 20 minutes, didn't put a whole lot of effort into it.

Fantastic test. You really did gear up for a large-scale film. Just look at all those tan bricks... can't wait to see this becoming a reality. Did you just throw in the sand or did you actually mold it? I'm guessing you kind of made it the shape you wanted it to be.
By the way, how could you order THAT many bricks from Bricklink? When I was looking to buy bricks for my film, each seller usually had just one exemplar available...

the sand i basically just tossed in - i might "sculpt" it to more Egyptian shapes when i actually shoot.
