Topic: Full length brickfilm coming!

I'm pretty sure that Hovinet doesn't come to this site, so I figured I could aswell post this.

Hovinet is a finnish brickfilming team that has been working on a film called Kastle Vania 4 for 5 years. According to the info, they have more than 110200 pictures and it is more than 2 hours long!

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

Sorry. After looking at Hovinet's BiM user I saw that they posted a trailer to it. My bad.

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

I think KV4 will be released 2012. I am Finn and I am in the Palikkatakomo's forum. It's Finnish Lego hobbyist's forum and Hovinet tells there for KV4's be completed. They are awesome guys. Check out their YouTube channel and adore their brickfilms! Hurrah Hovinet.

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

I saw teasers for that like a year ago, and I thought it would be awesome. Then I sort of got caught up in things and never found it again. It's great to know that it will be finished. This is a Brickfilm done in good old fashion style.

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

Actually Hovinet is on this site. I saw various trailers and teasers, I'm really looking forward to that.

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

I'm not exactly too excited about this. The animation and shots showed here looked a bit bland to me. Though, I though some of the sets were nice. I'm just kinda skeptical that someone's made a two hour brickfilm that would actually be interesting all the way through. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

Well, Leftfielderstudios (did I spell it right?) made a one hour long star wars brickfilm, which was surprisingly entertaining and funny, although you could tell that technical aspects like animation were average at best (voice acting was great, though). It is possible to make an interesting two hours brickfilm.

Maybe, you can be right. But let's see. mini/bigsmile

Re: Full length brickfilm coming!

I don't doubt that an entertaining two hour LEGO video is possible, it's just really, really unlikely. xD
Hope this turns out to be though.

Anyone have a link to the Star Wars one?
