You just lost a lot of my respect. You don't write "sub 2 me!", not cool.
I have people who ask you to subscribe. I have never done it and I've ended up with 450 subbers.
Yeah I have never pimped my channel and begged for subs. They will sub in their own time if your videos are good enough.
Spamming other peoples' channels and videos to beg for subs isn't cool, but I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with "reminding" people to subscribe within your own videos, this is what a lot of the top YouTube channels do.
For some reason, I have a thing against asking people to subscribe. Even just simply "reminding" people like Smeagol said, I just don't really care for it at all. To me, it seems like kind of an annoyance, like you're saying that your viewer is obligated to subscribe to you or something, which I don't particularly agree with.
Since I've been on YouTube, I've never pimped my channel, asked anyone or left channel comments to subscribe to me, asked for a "sub 4 sub," or even sent one of my videos to my friends list, and I've fared pretty well so far (For the most part, I call it luck).

I know of one reasonably well known brickfilmer who just blocks anyone who posts "sub 4 sub" comments/messages to his account.
I don't care if it's a joke (I don't even know if it is) but I have lost every last bit of respect for forrestfire. Sorry. but that wasn't funny.

Yeah. I don't think I have seen a single film of his that isn't about Batman, Spider Man, Indiana Jones or Star Wars.
Y'know, he's probably going to pop on and check what we said about him, then he'll either get really angry or just shake his head, laugh and say "lol noobs."
But I don't care. That just wasn't cool.
Can we have a separate "forrestfire blah blah blah call the waahmbulance!" thread so those of us who don't much care don't have to read about it?

So he knows about this place? Why does he think we're n00bs when he can't think of anything original to brickfilm. Everything's all Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones. Most of the films here take us up to years to make films sometimes. It takes him about 3 hours, though I don't know if that was a joke on his "interview".
