As promised, I made an entry. Now it's not the greatest thing in the world, and I'm not exactly sure if it fits the topic completely, but I've been meaning to build one of these for a while now, and this contest gave me the reason to build it. If it is not on topic, feel free to disqualify it or whatever. It is, however, technically a machine. The dish can rotate and move into any position at any angle.
I'm glad it fits! I could make another entry if you want..

MSF, did you get inspiration for that from Phineas and Ferb? You did an excellent job making that in LEGO if you did.

Well it seems as though BWJCLego has abandoned us... Having said that, I would be perfectly happy with giving motion studios films first place, and letting him decide the next theme. As long as I can have some motivation to build something.
I'm sorry for taking so long, been too lazy to judge, also hoping for another entry, that didn't happen.
FIRST: motion studios films- A very solid entry, definitely something that would be used in a film. The details are good, and it looks all around usable.
SECOND: kcirbfilms- I really liked it, your use of that grey tubing is excellent. My main problem is that you have red and blue bricks on the build, which wouldn't look good in a film. Use of only one would have been much better IMO. Designing a prop is only half the challenge, colour design is very important. Even if you have a great design, but the colours are messed, it doesn't look very good.
Take it away motion studios films. I want to enter.

you can make a normal bed, bunk bed or a double bed.
