Re: Props Challenge
I understand your enthusiasm, but this thread is pretty much dead, and it's been sick and dying since about page 10 or 12.
However, you can post your creation in the Sets and Props Critique Thread!
We are a friendly filmmaking community devoted to the art of stop-motion animation using LEGO® and similar construction toys. Here, you can share your work, join our community of other brickfilmers, and participate in periodic animation contests!

Dead, yes. Until someone decides to bring it back to life. As in us three. If you build it, they will come.
And this creation was made just for this thread... But I do have other sets that I would love to get advice on!

Alright, since I'm in charge of judging, I will do so. I thought it was already dead, so I waited until it was alright to revive it again. Wouldn't revive it if it was for the results with two persons entering.
(Currently judging)
-Jack.
Edit: The Folder is not yet public, kcirbfilms Or rather, not working yet. Instead of linking me to the Folder, link me to the excact picture, thank you.

Right, sorry 'bout that... I'm gonna have to get used to brickshelf. Here you go:
I'll enter this more!
I'll enter this more!
Yes! Enter! Bring this thread back to life! We can do it!!
Alright, since I'm already a tad late, and TBDude didn't clarify he entered, here's the results:
First: kcirbfilms!
Your entry was really good! Creative, classic, and had a fitting story. The wooden design was also really nice, and the growing plants around it was a good, finnishing touch'.
Second: GGSStudios! Your entry was also really good, but too classic. I've seen quite alot of these safes, although they're really good. You used alot of effort which you clearly showed and the grey'ish colour was an awesome colour for a safe. But it's probably why it got second place -Too classic.
Third: MadLibs! Your entry was nice, although the colours weren't matching. In colours, but also in the theme.
It was pretty blocky, and seemed a bit akward in size. Square'ish. But it was nice, and a safe after all, so it did fit the theme!
-Jack.
Alright! I'm going to go with a super general theme, in the hopes of a lot of entries: Futuristic Transportation. This can be taken in any way you want! Judging will be in ONE WEEK.
SWEET!!! Now use that in a film!
DOUBLE POST: I've spend like an hour reading through this entire thread, and it deserves to be revived. I shall begin entering these contests, but I may not be able to do the futuristic transport thing because of two things:
- don't have any idea what to do
- even if I did, I'd never beat BWJCLego's thing...
BWJC, that's quite epic. I'd like to see a short film revolved around that.
-JK
Yeah... I don't have my animating cam, so using my secondary camera I'm entering these "build a" contests. One pic is enough to have fun. I'll make something today or tomorrow. By the way, I'm too lazy to scroll up, who is judging this?
I am judging this. Yes, everyone enter!!
PersonaJet, by TarchinFilms. A new way to cruise.
Here's my entry. High powered, super fast and extremely safe personal jets. One ma, enough room in the back for a suitcase. Patented design allows air flow to hit the small windshield and flow upwards, pushing the air coming towards the drivers face upwards as well, causing an insulated air bubble around the flyer. No goggles necessary. Patented AirCusion10 allows soft landings and near immediate stops. Seat stops the driver from feeling up to 10Gs as the jet can accelerate from 0 to 536.7mph in 3 seconds. Patented AntiGrav allows the jet to hover while "parking."
I don't know.. seems kind of... simple.
EDIT: My entry is now up:

Hey, I tried, and I like it, something in the future doen't have to be extremely detailed, it can be sleek and well designed, yet look like the simplist design.
