Re: Café Corner

1. You don't. You save time, money, and get a much bigger selection by using Bricklink.com.

2. But if you're dead set on using Lego.com, is this what you want?

You just look up the pieces, and add them to the bag. Then you click "Go to Shopping Cart" and checkout like you would any other order.

Re: Café Corner

I'd suggest using Bricklink as well. There's a much wider range of parts available (well, depending which store you buy from). It's basically a LEGO-only ebay. i use it all the time for buying anything from individual minifig parts to bulk trans-blue bricks (I buy a lot of those).

Word of advice: always check the seller's feedback first. I do, and I've never had a problem. A friend of mine doesn't, and he got a bunch of Bionicle masks that ended up being Chinese knockoffs.

Re: Café Corner

Thanks guys, I have used brick link before but it always seems like theres a lot of shipping cost if you just buy a few bricks[that and a lot of people have a minimum order that you have to do more than]. But its probably the same with Lego.com, this is what I was thinking of https://service.lego.com/en-us/replacem … #BasicInfo Lego says that you can order pieces and THEMed lego guys for your collection here but I don't know how that works.

Thanks a ton guys

That is only for getting a replacement part for a piece that was supposed to come with the set but couldn't be found, broken when the set was bought, or broken while playing with it.

It's about time.

Re: Café Corner

Took way too long in my opinion.

Re: Café Corner

With all respect, I have to politely disagree.  Why?  Look up Romans 1:26-27.

Alright, in keeping with the general policy of avoiding political and religious discussions on the forum (except where they tie directly to discussing a particular film or filmmaking industry issue) I'm gonna ask that we take this discussion elsewhere (not on BiM) if it's something you want to discuss.

edit: We'll remove any further posts about this, as we've done so far. "Smeagol is right, we should stop, but first I'm going to get the last word in" isn't acceptable behavior.

Back to normal discussion....

I'm trying to find a professional editor for Mac but I really dont want to pay the subscription fee for Adobe Premiere, but I really liked Premiere.  Any suggestions? I've tried Lightworks which I'm not too fond off.

Re: Café Corner

Final Cut Pro? It's $300, but you only pay once and updates are free.

I've used it in a trial before and meh.  $300 seems like paying too much for a program that works too much like iMovie... I may have to think it over though. By purchasing a $300 program I would begin to save money after 15 months of use, being that CC costs $20 per program...

Re: Café Corner

I see what you mean, but I think Final Cut Pro has so much more functionality than iMovie. Anyway that's my only suggestion. I myself am in need of a professional editor.

Re: Café Corner

Just pay for Adobe CC, its worth it.
