If the Mayans were so good at predicting things, they would have seen the Spanish coming

Re: Café Corner

12 hours past doomsday here.

I talked to a friend about how timezones would work with the end of the world, like if you wer standing on the edge of a timezone barrier, would you see the world just collapse next to you, and cut off like a cliff?

I figure that no one will ever know when Rapture (or whatever your religion's equivalent is; I personally refer to it as The Second Coming) will happen, because I think God would rather have a bunch of people who are constantly being good and repentant over a load of last-minute repenters.

But that's just my opinion.

I'd think He'd rather have anybody at any time, last minute or no. But either way it's totally gonna be a helluva surprise, yeah.

It actually says in the Bible that no one would know when it happens. mini/tongue So, really, days like yesterday are the only days you can be sure that it's not going to happen. xD

I bet the rapture is when BiM crashes
Kind of like in this video. Someone will have to make an updated version.

Re: Café Corner

I was at Hershey Park all day yesterday. Nobody will predict the end of the world, so why bother trying. Humanity has just begun, do you really think it will end in this millennium?

Actually I believe God would want as much people to accept his gift as possible even at the last moment.

Remember god loves everyone: Drug addicts, prostitutes, gays, beggars, Ect.

Ok, before a flamewar erupts, lets not discuss religion.

In other news, back from a camping trip with my fellow bandmembers, and am now exhauseted and hungry.

Re: Café Corner

I don't want to fight you but could you at least look into Christianity before you judge it. mini/wink

Maybe look up some key verses like John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
