Did anyone else hear that Egypt shut down their internet, or was this already mentioned?
Yea, I heard that on the news. Anyone here from Egypt? I'm devastated that I can't contact everyone I don't know.
I've been following the events in Egypt via Twitter the past days. More than 150 protestors have been shot and a couple of thousands injured. The (political) situation there is very hard to understand atm. They shut down the internet, and mobile com. in many areas.
I heard of it, which is kinda sad that the government did it just to hide their flaws.
Well, it's a dictatorship.
State sponsored thugs are looting to discredit the movement. E.g. they destroyed mummies in the museum of Cairo.
Oh and I forgot to mention the curfew from 3pm to 8am. Of course the protestors don't care about it.
