Topic: What should I do?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section

I started brickfilming in September 2009 and I haven't made much progress since, I have only around 15 minifigures, a digital camera with no tripod, and no base plates. This is my youtube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/FilmsLego

I am considering buying minifigures, plates, and a webcam from the BiM shop, is that a good idea?

Re: What should I do?

It is a good idea to buy baseplates and minifigures. A digital camera is fine while you build your LEGO collection and make a few brickfilms.

Re: What should I do?

Base plates are a MUST.
Minifigs would be good as well.

It might also help to view tutorials on how to make your animation smoother.

Watch this It's a bit old but when I started it really helped me.

Re: What should I do?

After over four years, I still use a digital camera. And iMovie.
I would recommend just buying a base plate, and working from there. Huge sets aren't too important when you're starting off. As long as you have minifigs, you should be good.
Practice makes perfect. mini/wink

Re: What should I do?

All the stuff in the BiM store is the stuff that is widely recommended for brickfilming by the community, so that's a great place to start.
