Topic: clay with legos does it ruin them?

you see i want to use clay to hold my lego minifigs in place its useful for animating and all sorts of stuff anyway will it like ruin the lego or somthing or do you have an advice that i can use instead please help itll be one step closer to becoming pro or better then an amature mini/confused

As far as I know, clay can hold your minifigs/lego in place, and won't ruin it. But that's for flat surfaces. For studs you don't need clay, because well...you have the studs.

It won't ruin your LEGO, but it's very soft and isn't very good for holding things down. Blu tack is much much better.

Shouldn't this be moved to "Technique" ? I use sticky clay which works nicely with me mini/wink

Blue tac is better.

I used clay, and it always gets into tiny little unreachable gaps.

thanks im using playdoh clay and stuff um yeah it works out so no need for replying unless you have somthing to say : )
