The second link shows a picture where you see an auto focus switch that can be turned off

I discoverd there was a switch to turn it off
Well, if you can turn off the auto focus and use manual focus it seems like a good webcam for brickfilming. Though if you're on a Mac check if the webcam is completely compatible with your system because I've heard some users using a Mac having trouble with some webcam features.
