Sorry, I meant awesome.
That looks amazing Nick. ![]()
Can't wait to see what you've got coming.
It looks so much like a city, and that's cool.
Is he sitting or falling? I can't tell. Looks very nice, though.
Thanks everyone.

More like flying, actually. The physics in this shot aren't terribly realistic I'm afraid.
Awesome Nick! Is the white building in the background lego too?

Suicide?

Stalkers, maybe Hazzat? ![]()
Great shot. Love it.

To me it looks like he just jumped through the window and is hardly making it to the other one or someone threw him away.
Very good quality, I can never get a masking like that, it's alway obvious where I masked.

Had any luck getting good close-up shots in some way? I'd be using one of those if it weren't for the difficulty I've had in finding a good macro lens.
Are you searching for Canon lenses or Nikon? I know MindGame and mobiledeli use Nikon adapters on their Canon cameras so that they can use old manual Nikkor lenses, you might want to give that a shot.
I'd tend to agree with AbsurdAnimations here.
Also, consider it from the audience's point of view. While ariel shots are nice, it would be even nicer if we were down in the middle of the action. In other words, at a ground level.
EDIT: Oh, and what lens do you have?
yea, its just one of the shots.
Most are at 'ground' level.
also, about close ups. I have the camera sitting on a tripod and zoom in and focus, it works AWESOME.

Yeah, I've considered that. From what I've seen, though, none of the macro lenses are really very macro. They focus about a foot away and achieve a close-up look by being very zoomed in (like 60-100mm), which I suppose works, but I'd prefer something wider angle. My Powershot is the equivalent of 35mm and can focus 1 cm away, though of course it has other downsides.
I do not have any behind the scenes pictures, but there wasn't much to the setup since it's mostly CGI. Here's an unedited frame.
Wow!
That makes it even more impressive. xD
The fact that you blurred it really masks the fact that it was GCI very nicely.
Great frame, I assume that the minifigure is jumping from one building to another?

I've just purchased a 550D, and while I do not yet own it, I've been doing some re-search and these are some good macro lenses you should try.
For Macro (Budget): The Canon EF-S 60mm is a great macro lens, with an aperture of f/2.8 & accurate autofocus. ($591.00)
For Macro: The Canon EF 100mm (Aperture f/2.8 IS "Image Stabiliser")... haven't researched this all that much. ($1,198.00)
ALSO, the canon 55mm lens is a good 'un as well. Stan has it, and it works for him, plus it's a little known secret it's a 'yes' when you have a 550D.
Hope this helped.
