Seduction. Obsession.
HYPERREALISMMy septemberfest entry.
This scene is inspired by Vertigo and Dressed to Kill.![]()
I was doing a few test shots, hope this one was good.
Ahem, so nobody forgets about my classy frame I just posted an hour ago.
Looks AWESOME Kinz!

I love the bench and posters! Great work!

@KinzCove: I love the paintings on the walls. Did you draw them? Nice job, I also like the angle, though there is too much floor, and the minifig's head is cut. The door design and the rest is quite awesome, though.
@Peanut: Set could be improved, the frame is out of focus and you should add some clouds on the sky. Should be improved, I'd recommend you to reshoot the scene if you already filmed. If not, I would recommend you to fix these things. Also, I think the camera should be a bit closer, or at a lower angle.
Okay. Lucky on my part that I took this frame as I was setting up the shot. It looks much better now. ![]()
Kinz it looks good but if you ask me the foreground is just too empty and I feel it detracts from the image. Unless you want this area completely empty I'd suggest perhaps adding an empty bench or something.
I personally don't like the colors of the roof on the building to the right, but the real footage looks great.
I love it!

Love it BG. I agree with RealBrick about the roof colors. It stands out too much.
Wow, BG. That's intense. Can you explain to me how you did that shot? Is that background CGI?
Light is nice, although I think you should add some yellow light that comes from the houses, the sky darker and less stars, because they should be covered by the houses lights. I think the bench should be seen entire, or anyway more centered, I don't know if you understand what I mean. Also, I agree with RealBrick about the roof. Everything else is fine.
EDIT: What I meant is said by hazzat.

Looks good BG, I agree with Hazzat though, it would look better if the bench was more in the center. Also, the building with the red and white roof doesn't seem very flat, try using some flat tile pieces.

I animated the bench and road in front of a greenscreen, and made the two buildings in the background CGI. Then I just composited it all into After Effects after rendering it out in Blender.
Wow. What camera do you use BG?
The 9000.

I'm not sure what you mean by the first sentence. Yellow light coming from the stores? I already did that. I'll fix the sky being too light though. I might zoom the shot in a bit more so that it's centered too, but depending on the quality after the zoom I might not do that.

It's not meant to be flat. There front red and white stripes are the large curved bricks. I did put tile pieces behind them though, but you can't see it at this angle.
Nice work, although I could tell right away that you green screened it by the color reflection on the hair of the girl and the shoulder of the guy. Very nice blending of the background though. Just make sure that when you correct the color of the light, make the buildings a little darker in areas not effected by light as well. And possibly get rid of the green reflection?
Psst, how's mine coming?]
You could probably fix that by making the lights from the building blue.
Yeah, I agree with Hazzat.
