Interesting frame, 1011ev. I'm thinking he is probably gonna knock that wall down? Haha. Here is a shot from my upcoming animation. Points to whoever can guess the significance of it (other than the fact that it is for the Fourth of July). mini/smile

Fourth of July? mini/tongue

Nice shot, though. The background could use a few more props, but it should be fine without them. And the blurred-out character looks perfect.

I really don't know what that thingy is.  But it looks somewhat like it's supposed to be romantic somehow.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

My guess is it's supposed to be a firework safety video that being a firework (firecracker)?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Looks like a box of sorts, the red makes me think it's romantic. "How to pick up lego minifigures" maybe?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Unfortunately none of those are quite what I was going for. However, here is a hint: It has to do loosely with a previous animation of mine. Thanks for the comments by the way! mini/smile

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Loosely tied to A Date with Julie? With dynamite? (Sorry, I couldn't resist. mini/tongue )

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Julie gets out of the hospital and is now meeting that guy who visited her in the hospital?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Ah! Now you all are onto something! It is related to A Date with Julie.

JULIE LIVED!!! mini/delirium
:')

It's definitely dynamite, I mean, seriously, what else would an American guy give to his girlfriend on the 4th of July?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Haha mini/smile I make no promises. But happy endings are always better. And I know right?! But then again... I've never done that. Yet. Haha!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

None other than the classic 18-55. The key to getting a nice looking image for Brickfilms in my opinion is to have a medium aperture. Some people have it way to small and the DOF is too great. In some instances this is okay and looks wonderful of course. Generally though I like the DOF to be large enough to where the entire mini figure is in focus and then some. (but still shallow enough to blur out the background nicely, as seen in my frame.

This isn't how the frame will actually look in the end. I've got color correction and a little more edit on top of it.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Sorry to be n00by, but what is DOP? I know DOF is depth of field...
