Topic: Quickcam Pro 4000 Question

I have a couple of question with the quickcam pro 4000 the
1st does it have a USB connection?
2nd whats the difference between QCP9K and QCP4K?
also the reason I'm thinking about getting this is because it's a lot cheaper than QCP9k

Re: Quickcam Pro 4000 Question

1. Yes.
2. 9k better, more expensive.

Re: Quickcam Pro 4000 Question

The 9K has a manual focus on the computer, so you don't have to touch the camera to change it, whereas the 4K requires you to twist the lens in order to change the focus, this can cause bumping the camera. I own the 9K, have never had the 4K, but I guarantee, it was £50 well spent.

Re: Quickcam Pro 4000 Question

Hey dude! (It's me nomfee btw)

Yup, both hook up to computer for live feed into the likes of Mokeyjam, Helium frog etc. Quickcam pro 9000 is more expensive, but it's a great quality webcam, so it's probably better in the long run mini/smile.
