You mean when you try saving a film?
In that case just wait, leave it, and it'll save it. Always.
It freezes when I try to save the movie ![]()
I use a digital camera but will soon be purchasing a QC9000
Or should I buy the QC400?
Did you even read my post? I said "if it freezes when you try to save a movie nothing is actually happening. Leave it because it'll eventually save."
TRUST ME.
I did try but when I opened it up just now ( I haven't used it in awhile) it froze as soon as i clicked import.

Because you FAIL at life.
Just kidding, I only really wanted to say that to somebody.
I wouldn't know, because I don't use MonkeyJam.
EDIT: Is it because of your computer, or did you not download it properly?
Dude, posting in a help thread when you don't know anything is pointless. (And yes I Know he made an EDIT, but that hardly helped.)
erase it and download it again

MonkeyJam is quite notorious for freezing up when it saves movies. As Awesomeonomy pointed out, this is usually because it's saving; just waiting for MonkeyJam to finish (and not running other programs while it's doing so) might work. Sometimes, especially when your computer doesn't have enough memory, it simply freezes up and doesn't do anything at all.
A good option would be to reinstall the software, yes. Alternatively, you could string together the seperate frames using different software that does the job way better, like VirtualDub; or you could switch to a completely different program like Helium Frog (though technically that's avoiding the problem).
I would advise against buying a new webcam to solve the problem; it's a bit radical of a 'solution' being very costy. Besides, unless your digital camera doesn't allow you to set settings and focus on manual you are better off with a digital camera, quality wise.
CapedKid, not to seem mean, but didn't you just do that?
Anyways, at least it was something.
Now, I second the second paragraph BertL said: I think that it would be easier to use another program altogether, not just because it's easier that way, but because it has better features than MonkeyJam, such as onion skinning, a frame editor, and if you want to get into the advanced stuff, a mouthing rotoscoper thingy and even very basic chroma keying.
Thanks for all the suggestions!:) I will probably get a different program ![]()
