Jessamyn is the Princess of a far-off kingdom. When her city is besieged by invaders and her father slain, her loyal bodyguard Faron carries her to safety. Their destination: a castle deep in the woods. Somewhere safe, until the immediate threat of the invaders has passed.

My entry to the 2026 BRAWL (Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long) contest, in which participants have exactly one week to produce a brickfilm. I've been wanting to do one of these for years and never been in a position to dedicate a week at the right time before, so I'm glad to have finally had a chance!

This is my first completed brickfilm in thirteen years (!) but there have been lots of tests and half-finished films in the intervening period, as well as quite a bit of experience in live-action. It's still a little rough around the edges though. Nature of the beast, I suppose. In hindsight I bit off way more than I could chew, but I wanted to try out a load of techniques that I've been thinking about for years.
