you could either do 2 things. 1. Green/Blue screen them in to make them look like they are hovering or , mask the image in something like gimp or photoshop
Masking would be the best idea.

It involvs taking a picture of the flying object with a support and taking a picture of just the background, then blending them together.

... but very time consuming. Plus, you have to get the pictures have to be almost identical( like, the lighting, pieces, buildings, are the same).
If you are hoping for it to be a long hovering scene, you have bettter have alot of patience. Masking is easier said than done.

I wasn't trying to be mean, it's just, it is hard.
It might be possible to hide a support behind the actual turrets, depending on how big they are and the angle of the shot.
