It's a trailer for a 25 minute LEGO Halo film coming out early next year. In case you were wondering, yes I already orgasm-ed from this.

25 minutes? Holy cow...
Sets are definitely the strong point. Did Alex Kobbs do a LEGO Wii video?

Woah.
That. Looks. Amazing.
6 YEARS IN MAKING. Wow, this looks like it's going to be loved by all. I don't personally play Halo, but this film still looks like it's full of awesomesauce.
Aawwweesssoommmeeeee.

If they're going to work for six years on something, couldn't they use better animation?
As was said before, the sets are a highlight and the customization is nice.

uh, this has been in the making for 5 years. 4 of the years working on the fully scaled lego zanzibar model. it's been pretty well known, the guys on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn-rH06EfIE go check out his other videos, like the LEGO WII, and his,"history of lego zanzibar" his zanzibar model really is huge.
The video uses the number six. And as I said before, I appreciate the scale and breadth of the set, it just saddens me to see some moments of choppy animation upon it.

And the muzzle flashes are horrendous. I think it will be awesome, but it is as if he spent years building an awesome, amazing set, then decided to wing it during the film-making.
I'm not sure why you guys are annoyed by the animation quality. When I watch a brickfilm, I just want to be entertained. It looks cool, but I don't know if it'll be able to keep my interest for half an hour.

This looks ok, I agree the sets are it's strong points too. Ther animation is 24fps it seems, which is quite a feet for 25mins.
The animation looks as if it's been done by someone who hasn't animated lego figures before, I cringe at the amature-looking minifig animation.
The cut-outs of gun shots look appalingly cheap and they look to be drawn with pencil, so that's another low point. Some of the effects look pretty good, although most of them are in-camera, which doesn't mean better than being added afterwards. It looks to be quite violent for a lego film.
Judging by what I've seen, I have as yet to find a decent lego halo film with an actual story and is REALLY good. Preferably with Sabr-Scorpions' Elites.
