Yeah it is good. It does it's job, and thats all it needs to do.
Its a very simple yet great masking program. Get it.
You could get Gimp. It's free and in my opinion better, I find it easier to use, and it's an all purpose picture editor.

No, although it is good, bafran is especially for masking and made by brickfilmers I believe, GIMP is possible to do so, but Bafran is just so simple, and a lot quicker to mask than in GIMP, but I do also recommend GIMP for any other still image editing
