I think kissing would be a great idea. Sure, most of us have never kissed, but we've seen movies, right?
I don't know about that… every time someone starts kissing in a movie I start looking at my Twitter feed…

It's obvious. This round's theme should be: Kissing while side walking and wielding a chainsaw.
But, should you guys find that idea... deplorable, I would not be adverse to animating a kissing scene.

Nah, that would be awful. But please, someone choose a topic ASAP so we can have Saturday to animate.

From what I see, ya'll want to do chainsaw, sidewalk (walking sideways), kissing and Harbourlight doesn't mind strangling.
For the sake of Tenny and Harbourlight, I won't do kissing just yet.
A majority of you like chainsaws and if the next challenge is chainsaw, I won't be able join because I do not have a chainsaw.
I know that most lego City sets have chainsaws so you can spend your money so you can make a short video with no prizes.

The challenge is chainsaw. Buzzsaws can be a substitute.
Cut a tree. Cut a person. Cut a chainsaw. Do whatever you want!
I shall allow VFX to the chainsaw animation.
The deadline is 14th of February.
I can extend the deadline if you're ordering a chainsaw piece or finding a blade because sometimes buying a tiny, plastic chainsaw may take some time.

Man people like chain saws.
I started working on my animation and I just realized that I don't want to change the settings of my camera because if I do, I may never get the settings back to what they were for Disney 
… And also that my sister stole my green baseplate (I had to ask her to take her house off) and that I should really purchase a chainsaw piece. One more thing: This might be my first real use of the masking technique.

I don't know if we are supposed to post comments about the entries here, but it seemed a little odd that the tree fell at the joint that wasn't being cut. That was just a minor thing though.

Yeah. I guesssss it was an already dead tree that just needed a rumble to fall over? That's why I made the other piece fall after the tree fell.

What do y'all think of it? I know I didn't animate the minifig's chainsaw brick much. It's kind of jumpy because I was going for a cartoony feel, instead of a smooth tree cutting down. The 24fps didn't help any. Also, the ending was disastrous and I didn't feel like re-animating.
