Re: The Animation Challenge

What backyard said! I'm impatient for the next theme, my brain has run dry for ideas so I'm waiting on this to power that lightbulb, I have a week left of my summer break, and I've been procrastinating for half the holiday, so I really want to get something done.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Guys, ive got:
-Lego blood animation
-Breaking and falling apart
-Front flip

Any favourites/suggestions? mini/smile

Re: The Animation Challenge

Blood.... Hmmmm nah
Breaking and falling apart would be the best out of that list, I think it'd be a real fun and good challenge too!
Front Flips alright, think it's been done though, and it might be too easy mini/wink

Re: The Animation Challenge

I know this is a silly suggestion, but what about a teamwork challenge? Can be interpreted in many ways, such as having group of construction workers build something together. Just a suggestion though.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Good Job MrMingle! I know mine wasn't much of a fight scene, I was gonna do more, but, my brother startled me and I bumped my set. mini/rolleyes

Re: The Animation Challenge

Change it up, make it something new, bold, never done before.
A challenge where you make a really short script that is vague and can be intreperted different ways.
A challenge where people have to team up with someone to create a short film where the two people coordinated filming it together, even though they're in different locations.  Like they find a way to each do a small part of it and then edit it together seamlessly.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Of those I would say front flip, though it's basically a variation on several older themes anyway. Like Jonn said, you should change it up and try to think of something radically new, like freeze ray but the beam has to be brick-built, or something like that.

Re: The Animation Challenge

That's basically what we're trying to do with the BFCU challenge too, with story as the focus. Here's the link again: http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/to … challenge/

Collaboration is important to the BFCU challenge as well, as you can work with other brickfilmers to create one or a set of entries.
