Re: The Animation Challenge

Dancing. You're on.

I don't often come up with something i'm genuinely pleased with, if it's arrogant to be proud of your work and want to tell others about it then this world is messed up. - Gareth Pugh

Re: The Animation Challenge

I was hoping to finish mine before you judged as I expected judging tomorrow. mini/sad
Don't feel like editing it all together now. Gonna work on other stuff for now....

Re: The Animation Challenge

Dancing has been done before, but some of the themes has been re-done, so I'll try to think about something...

Q: When you say Dance Number, you mean more people dance the same dance or can I make one guy just... dancing?

Why are you looking at my signature?
Mod edit: Your signature started it.
... Oh yeah.

Re: The Animation Challenge

However you wish to interpret it, Eagle. Pretty much anything goes as long as it features dancing in some way.

Personally, though, I love the first-person idea. That would be a cool challenge! mini/bigsmile

So would just using Lego Bricks (no minifigs) be fine?

Re: The Animation Challenge

I might do this. Have to come up with some ideas though.

No, I haven't seen that tutorial. Thanks for the link, I will try to incorporate "easing in and easing out" in my videos from now on.

Re: The Animation Challenge

are we allowed to use copy rigthed material for this challenge? (a song) or do we need to find royalty free stuff

Re: The Animation Challenge

Its an animation competition, it doesn't matter what music you use.

(Youtube on the other hand might have something to say about it)

Hope you hate it.

I didn’t hate it, I actually quite liked it! mini/smile I thought the muzzle flash was very good, but I did see something at the edge of the screen which moved around.

Thank you, thank you very much, The thing on the screen was a tiny light (it was suppose to be a "laser trip wire" That i begged my parents for when i was little and never worked mini/lol ) but i guess eight or more years later i fond use for it.
