I decided to make an entry.
I slipped it into my giant test montage I've been making for the past few days:
It includes the unmasked footage as well.
I'm rather glad I made it, it was one of the more challenging this of the past few days, but it was delightful, and I'm surprised I got it so smooth.

Scifi guns:
I shined a light on set, then added a custom flare I made today along with some brightening around there.
Flashback:
I took a really high res picture and cropped it to zoom, and added blur effects.
Knife throw:
I moved the camera with the picture being taken. No extra effects were used in that shot.
