I don't have any too, well, in the real world...
I won't be animating anyway, and in CGI I can make 10000000000 lightsabre's
I have about that many lightsabers in real life, so no prob. Yeah, this is something that we should totally work on together.

Hmmm, I didn't really expect that to be a problem. I guess if you really want to make one, and you can't find a lightsaber, then you can use swords. But for everyone else, if you can, a lightsaber battle is what you should be going for.
Well, if I really get serious about entering, I suppose I could go asking around to my friends.
This is different nos, and that thread came from June 12, it's now 8 November.
I like this idea.
a good lightsaber fight is something you rarely see, so this will be interesting, ive recently been running a lot of practices with lightsaber duels so i might enter...:D
I'm going to have a go at this.

I'm not sure, but I think it will just be that everyone votes for the one they like best, and the one with the most wins. But FancyPants will have to answer that question for sure.

EDIT: I dunno whether I'm gonna have enough time to do it all in a month because I'm not gonna be doing it every night obv, and I wanna do some tests first (running, masking, the usual) then actually sounds and filming will take ages, plus rotoscoping the lightsabers will take aggess!
And on top of all that, Homework!

Nah, I'm not gonna have enough time, this may have to run into my own little project and not bother with trying to hit the deadline

Tbh, the lightsaber isn't the most convincing thing, maybe when you've finished filming, watch some tutorials on sony vegas or after affects lightsabers then download the trial version or whichever one and try to roto scope it all in 30 days or whatever the time limit is for the software trial...

who judges? seeing as you both are entering as well?
The "judging" for this challenge will be fairly laid-back. My original idea was that once it's over, everyone gets to vote once and you can't vote for your own entry. The focus isn't on who wins and loses, but improving and having a bunch of sweet duels at the end of it.
