Re: The Animation Challenge

First place: twickabrick. It looked really smooth and awesome, and it was very realistic climbing.

Second place: Just Kidden. The perfect example of a cartooney animation. However, it didn't seem quite perfect and didn't appeal to me as much as twickabrick's entry did.

Third place: HarryandBillybrick. It was alright, however there was a lot of light flicker, and in many places the animation looked rushed and lots of sticky tac was visible.

Re: The Animation Challenge

I'm satisfied with second place. Twickabrick's entry was amazing. Hopefully he comes online to do a new theme. If he doesn't do it in time, would I do it?

I'd thought I'd show that. I never made it in time, and it was a copy of twicks, but i wasn't really planning on entering it anyways. I just wanted to try climbing out.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Re: The Animation Challenge

I doubt it. TwickABrick's was much more realistic

Re: The Animation Challenge

The next theme is - much like the last theme, animating someone climb up a
wall - animating someone RAPPELLING down a wall. The wall could be anything
you want, a cliff, an building, or even an iceberg.

If you don't know what rappelling is, then I would recommend watching this video.

EDIT: The deadline is September 15th.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Ok. Repelling: 1. Drive or force (an attack or attacker) back or away. 2. (of a magnetic pole or electric field) Force (something similarly magnetized or charged)

RAPPELLING: Well, what this contest is about.
