Re: The Animation Challenge

Forget Shpderman, Twick, that was brilliance. One of the best entries submitted to this animation contest ever, I'd say. Not as good on as Ham On Set, but incredible nevertheless.

I'll be back animating soon! Exams and computer faults are keeping me away </3

Re: The Animation Challenge

Yes, his animation is stellar and he films in 15 fps!

Re: The Animation Challenge

did you use a rig to hold the minifig, or did you use clay? or what!?

Re: The Animation Challenge

You know, you guys can still enter. The only way there's no chance of winning for you is if you don't even make an entry.

I used clay, if you pause in the part where he's climbing upside down,
you'll probably see some clay on his hands.

Re: The Animation Challenge

TwickABrick... truly amazing. It was just so simple and the camera movements were great. the sound fit perfectly, and there was not one slightly wrong move. it was completely perfect. You sir, have earned yourself a subscriber.

May I ask... How long did it take to make that?

I don't know, probably.

About four days in all, the first two days I was just testing animating the guy climbing,
and that didn't take very long, probably just about an hour for each day.

The third day I actually animated the real thing, and since it's only one shot, it's a lot
easier to film it all at the same time, so that probably took about three to four hours.

The next day I edited it - which only took about an hour - and uploaded it to YouTube.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Alright, as of now, no more entries can be submitted, unless you are just uploading it to YouTube or something. I'll judge later today.

Re: The Animation Challenge

does every entry get a place or is there just a winner?

Re: The Animation Challenge

There's just a winner. If the judge feels like it he can do 2nd place and third place.
