This is a pretty incredible professional LEGO stop-motion.

I particularly like the vignette feel and the way the edges of the baseplate set the boundaries for the animation.

Yeah it's pretty cool, I think somebody posted it on Brickfilms.com a few years ago maybe. There was a making of video for it somewhere, too. Most of it was really shot like that, albeit on a greenscreen I think, and then the cars, smoke, and birds were CG.
