Re: What was the last LEGO set you got?
I hate all you people with enough money to splash out on all this stuff. Just one day....

I'm gonna sell it when Lego's license with Star Wars is over in 2 years. It'll be worth mucho $$$$
Actually, if you have faith, Lego may renew its license before it expires. So maybe you can sell it the year before the license expires.
LEGO Is probably going to renew it's license since they seem to be selling better than the last clone wars line up.
I hate the Clone Wars lineup. Its almost as bad and poorly structured as the movie.

Lets take this discussion to the new LEGO line thread.
New Pirates Alert!
I just got this,
and this .
I'm lovin' the new fish piece, and the soldier's face will come in very handy.
Bought this for a world war II brickfilm.
I like this set, especially the bench.
The last set I got was the Green Grocer
I completed it in 3 days, 4-7 hours of work every day.
I like the new Pirates theme, I love that the sets are mostly cheap and i've been dying for a british soldier and cannon.
Dude where you get that set i have been looking for it in 8 months!
My first new pirate set. It's OK.

It's available from Lego Shop at Home, but it depends on which country you are in as to whether or not it is available to you. At least it'll give you an idea as to what you ought to be paying. I've seen it on places like amazon.com for much more than the rrp. They have a few slightly older sets (from, like, three years ago) at over four times the original purchase price.
However, being a big heavy set means that few local toy shops will carry them in stock, though a dedicated toy shop might be able to order it in for you.
I bought mine off ebay for $130
Bought the Shanghai Chase today. It's blody awesome. At first I thought it would be overpriced, 35 euros for 5 minifigs and 2 cars seemed like a lot to me, but when I was done building I changed my mind. Those cars are so awesome and there are so much detail.
