Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I really wish I had entered this, I had a great idear but just didn't get around to doing it mini/sad

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

My personal favourite to win would be Bodville or ZachMG. Both fabulous entries.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

My favorites are Nick Durron, MindGame and Bodville.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

They all were enjoyable, but I think Nick Durron's is the most avant-garde (keep the theme in mind) for a brickfilm.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

My favorite entry has to be Just Kiddens, just because it has dialoge.

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Just to clarify, this guy's being sarcastic. No need to report him.

Okay then. We would just rather him not say that at all, even if it is sarcasm, though that's just us.

Welcome to the internet. What you would like differs vastly from what it really is.

There's no rules against being mean.

In other news i was impressed with Nick Durron's and Bodville's but i didn't like mindgame's. It looked like he just came up with something 2 days before the deadline and filmed it in one night. I've only seen a few films though, so maybe there's a film i like more.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Yeah, mind game's was good animation, but the story seemed kind of iffy to us.  But I have not seen another film like it so I guess it could count as A-G.

I'm not sure how bodville's was A-G. Personally, [joke] my favorite is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR_5MuZ5BHo [/joke]

JK, not to be mean or anything, but how was your's A-G?

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I don't believe you read the description on the thread for my entry. mini/sad

Well, the reason I entered that idea into it, was because it's an Avant-Garde Western. It's liek thinking outside the box, right? I thought it was a good idea to think outside the box for a genre of film. That probably wasn't the best interpretation of the theme, but whatever.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Just Kidden's animation was Avant-Garde in its animation and storyline (especially the ending).
