Re: *deleted*

Sounds odd, but I used pivot V3 for that effect once. It worked OK, but there was no fancy light reflections, or shadows. mini/sad

I don't really need anything fancy. mini/smile
I'll check it out, but does anyone else have another way?

EDIT: Maybe you're not understanding me, but I kinda wanted to make it look like a lego ship, and I can't really find a way in Pivot. mini/sad

I'll try to upload it later, and show you... Help this guy please people. =P

Re: *deleted*

I just use real CGI (3D) for this kind of fx, but as that is really difficult, you should try to find a program that can keyframe positions and can handle with transparant layers.

Re: *deleted*

Well, I use Blender, and it is a very powerful 3D animation program, and yes, it does run on Mac. It has a sharp learning curve, but it's actually not as hard as you think it is, because not even experts use all the buttons on it. The best thing to do is to read the manual at:

http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:Manual

I read it and it's a huge help. You will need to install LDraw on to your windows XP, or Bricksmith for Mac, and then turn your madel into a .3ds, and if you have any questions, I have all the answers.

Re: *deleted*

If you can change the scale of the pic or vid it should work. scale it down to 0% and between a couple seconds scale back up to 100%

Re: *deleted*

Okay, but I'm warning you, it is a bit hard to learn if you don't have the right guide or tutorial. I recommend starting on the link I pointed out above, and start with the basic controls, then go to modeling and animating a static gingerbread man.
