I just began making one for my next big project.
I don't do storyboards. Is that weird of me?
no, this is the first time I do it...

I did some storyboards for Super, but that was a requirement, so everyone else could see what I was thinking of for the scenes. But since I don't usually work with any other people, any shot ideas I have stay in my head until I actually film the shot.

Wait, isn't that the same as just doing a script or do people do both? I only make a script.

I don't even write a script...well, lately I started writing...
I only do storyboards if I am limited in sets so I know what scenes require what set. 
Storyboards are not completely necessary for most of us. Studios and real people in the business use them to see what the director is seeing and they can build sets, makeup, CGI. Unless your working with someone then they are kind of useless since it's just you alone and you know what shots you want.
I work alone and use storyboards. Sometimes what you see in your mind isn't practical, or sets the wrong feel for a shot. Storyboards let you correct that before you dedicate a week to filming. I don't make them all the time, but I've found that when I do the end product increases greatly in quality.
I kinda make a storyboard in my head. I plan out how I want all of my shots and then try to make them a reality.

I usually storyboard my films, although I do it with tiny, so-small-no-one-but-me-could-understand-it frames.
