Topic: Must-watch classic brickfilms

So there's been some discussion over on the Discords about classic brickfilms and I thought it would be a good idea to have a place to put these. It's probably been done before, but it's 2021 and with how little activity the forums have I think a new thread on this couldn't hurt. Anyways, here are some of my picks.

These are mostly brickfilms made between 2000 and 2004, when Brickfilms.com really took off. I started watching brickfilms on-and-off from early 2003 and finally joined the community in mid-2004, and these are some of the most memorable brickfilms from that time. Since it's been so long, a lot of them aren't on YouTube. I'll probably add to this list and bump the thread when I do. Feel free to discuss films here and share what you consider to be classics as well!

Digital_Dave also posted a legendary masking tutorial based on this brickfilm that was very helpful for many people (well, at least it was for me). Unfortunately the there are no pictures anymore, but it's a nice trip down memory lane.

Re: Must-watch classic brickfilms

As you yourself mentioned, you shouldn't forget to mention About A Door by "Holgor"!

Re: Must-watch classic brickfilms

Dude, where is Grace (2007)?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsDfBw4DUd0

Honestly a lot of Robinson Wood's stuff is top level.

My profile picture is deep fried lol

Re: Must-watch classic brickfilms

Oh yeah, Grace is absolutely a classic film and Robinson Wood deserves a spot in the blokflom hol of fom. Another of his more notable works is Frankenstein.

Re: Must-watch classic brickfilms

Having seen maybe two of these I have some watching to do.
