I don't have time to work on it much right now, and I lack the knowledge necessary to fix security and stability problems with the resources system myself, anyway. Hopefully some of the volunteer programmers can make progress on it but everyone is just doing this stuff in their free time. When I have a bit more time to take a look at it I will do so; I would like to have the resources open for submissions and such.
You folks want a script writing\ idea making tutorial?

Yes please!
You folks want a script writing\ idea making tutorial?
MATT
Yes, but not from you.
Who do you want me to send it to?
When do you want it by?
In what format?
MATT
If you have completed a good, polished article, in bbcode format, you can send it to the "Resources" account via pm as explained in the first post.
I'd encourage people to think through this before writing articles, though. It's good if you want to help, but you might want to consider if you are really knowledgeable in a given field. I, for one, would frankly not be interested in an article about screenwriting written by someone who has no training in the subject and has never posted a completed film on this site.
Can you embed YouTube videos in the resources?
Can you embed YouTube videos in the resources?
I like this idea, and the current answer is no. I think it would probably be a relatively straight-forward feature to integrate, and better than just linking to a video b/c you can elaborate on it on the page, and it doesn't force you away from the resources section.
If we wish to submit a tutorial, can we just create it in Microsoft Word, or a similar word processor, and upload it to media fire as a rich text format? Also, how many different tutorials can we submit? Thanks,
- Mason
I dis-obeyed you Smeagol. I went ahead and sent it because... I'm not too sure.
I return, and I see a functioning resource section. Kudos, Smeagol, and whoever else helped.
Added some more links, but they haven't been accepted yet. Any idea when more things will be added?
Honestly, the resources are kind of a mess these days. We haven't been actively moderating submissions in a long time. Sort of looking at possible ways to make the resources into something useable, but I'm not sure what'll happen. The system as it is isn't really sustainable, we don't get enough good content submitted and we don't have the manpower to moderate it all anyway.
