LEGO Bible: Noah's Ark (2009)
Another old film I never uploaded to BiM. Noah's Ark was my first foray into special effects and chroma key, in Windows Movie Maker no less. The shot of the ark swaying in the storm was cool to me at the time. My standards have, of course, risen since.
I think the biggest problem I have with the early part of the film is that every voice sounds very similar. It's off-setting to viewers when nearly all the characters, Noah, God, the narrator, and more, all have nearly identical voices.
Like you, I'm impressed with that Ark rocking in the water shot. I think it looks great, especially for being made with WMM.
Like nearly any adaptations of Bible stories, there are some inconsistency with the source. (Raining in the film before they are in the Ark, for example.) But I'm always glad to see Bible stories adapted into Brickfilms!
