I’m getting back into stop motion after being away from it and want to know if Vegas Pro 12 is a good program to use until I am able to upgrade to a new program?
If you have Vegas Pro 12, use it! It definitely still works. Up until last year I used Vegas Movie Studio 12 (the consumer version) and it worked great. If you decide you want something more, consider DaVinci Resolve, it's super powerful and also free. But Vegas is definitely adequate.
