Topic: LDD to LeoCad not working AT ALL! I need help!

Hey,
I have a problem. I modeled a spaceship in LDD:

And then I exported the file as a .lxf which is the only thing LDD supports. My intention was to then bring that .lxf into LeoCad, Export it as a .3Ds file, and then Import that into blender so I could animate it. However, when I brought it into Leocad it looked like this!

Please help! You'll have my eternal gratitude if you can tell me what to do to fix this!

Just a quick note - we can't see the pictures since you're linking to where they are on your hard disk and not the internet.

Links to pictures aren't helpful in this situation.

These LEGO CAD programs draw from a database of pieces.  Why not just skip the program and pull from the database itself.  Switch to Ldraw and just import the database pieces from Ldraw's parts directory into Blender using the ldraw importer and build your model in Blender.

I guess I could do that.
