Welcome to the Production Log for my upcoming series Star Wars: Republic Commando. Based on the game of the same name, this series will tell the story of RC-1138 (Boss), RC-1262 (Scorch), RC-1140 (Fixer), RC-1207 (Sev) and how they formed the Delta Squad. There is no release date yet, but I'm planning on having this be a three part series, with each part being at least 10 minutes long.

For those of you not familiar with the game or clone commandos in general, here is a link to the game's prologue which introduces you to the Delta Squad.

This series has spent many years in pre-production, mainly because of time constraints but also because I want to deliver an interesting narrative that expands upon Delta Squad's story but is as action-packed as the game. I've spent a while tweaking the script, but I feel comfortable with where it stands so I am now ready to move onto the production phase.

To kick off the production log, I have a couple test photos for you all:

Sounds cool! Nice to see these characters getting some attention.

Created a very basic dolly out of two yardsticks and some tape. Here is a link to the first test. A bit jittery, but that's to be expected with this kind of rig. It suits my needs for now; I just need to get a little more acquainted with it.

Re: Star Wars: Republic Commando – Production Log

With it being so dark, you don't notice the jittering that much.
The yardsticks are a simple, old school solution, and seem to be working just fine.

I really like the lit up interior that we can see into. It would be nice to have a bigger window, but I'm sure you have some nice plans for this mysterious and dark dolly shot as it is.

I loved this game as a kid, and am quite excited to see what you have in store for us. Keep up the good work!
