Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

you didn't answer my question. (LOL, we're having two conversations at once!)

Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

I think with the implied scenic and character designs from the text of the book, recreating a scene would be particularly successful and very interesting, if pulled off right.

If I may suggest a scene: the first encounter with Sir (from the 4th book, I think.  It's been YEARS since I've read those).  You could really have fun with some effects generators, and, if that's too far out of reach, maybe the scene in the elevator shaft from the 6th one?

Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

I'm maybe thinking something from the vile village. maybe the first scene when their in Mr. Poe's office and/or the bus ride.

Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

I honestly remember little of the books, but I liked them. If you want to do it, go ahead. I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

Which is the woodmill book? with the hypnosis and the big chopper thing and the gum. That was my favourite.

Re: A series of Unfortunate Events book scene

I think the wide window could be done easily, provided you can do a bit of chroma key.

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.
