Re: Stop-Motion on TV
I think the one you're thinking of is Flushed Away, it was made to look like plasticine (with some help from Aardman!) but was just CG.

The Corpse Bridge was stop motion.
So it is too.
Isn't there a movie that's digital that is commonly mistaken for Stop Motion?
I'm pretty sure corpse bride was CGI made to look like stop-motion, or something like that.

Because it is....
Is that a bad thing? It looks awesome.

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (often abbreviated as Corpse Bride) is a 2005 stop-motion-animation fantasy film based loosely on a 19th century Russian-Jewish folktale version of an older Jewish story and set in a fictional Victorian era village.
The internet is a fascinating thing, but it is so underused.
Yeah, when Bert corrected me I double checked on wikipedia and IMDB, since wikipedia isn't always right.

I'm sorry.
I just heard somewhere that it was CGI.
I know it is so baby-ish, but Little People is Stop-motion... My sister watched it 20 times today, and its pretty hard not to look up and see its stop-motion.
Also, Jojo's circus is stop-motion.
It's too bad they don't have more stop-motion shows...
all english animators must know this
all english animators must know this
ALL animators should know about them.
And good ol' Gumby.
For those of you that live in the UK, have you guys noticed an increase in the number of stop motion animation adverts?
Such as the Cadbury Creme Egg Ads. By the way, I was not aware that the person (Chris Cairns) who created these ads or the company he works for.
Also, Tony Mines of Spite Your Face fame has been busy making ads as well.
And good ol' Gumby.
I saw a action figure of gumby, at this one REALLY weird toy store thingamajig, I almost bought it because
I wanted to make a Gumby thing. But then I realized, "I SHOULD JUST BUY A POWER MINERS SET INSTEAD".

EDIT: , but then again some people think that "The Corpse Bride" was stop motion. Which brings me to an annoying habbit a few people I know do
Should I express my hate for the word "emo", I would turn into the Hulk
this may be old but.
IT IS STOP-MOTION!!!!!! people often think it's not because it's too clean, but in fact it truely is. I know for a fact because I've talked to many of the people that worked on the film and here talk a look at this link from wikipedia.
