Re: Stop-Motion on TV

I think the one you're thinking of is Flushed Away, it was made to look like plasticine (with some help from Aardman!) but was just CG.

Re: Stop-Motion on TV

Shaun the Sheep. It's a five minute short on the Disney Channel.

Shaun the Sheep has been legendary since Wallace and Gromit's 3rd adventure, A Close Shave mini/bigsmile.

The Corpse Bridge was stop motion.

So it is too.

Isn't there a movie that's digital that is commonly mistaken for Stop Motion?

I'm pretty sure corpse bride was CGI made to look like stop-motion, or something like that.

^^It says it's stop-mo on Wikipedia.

Re: Stop-Motion on TV

There's this really cool advert on at the moment that tells you to keep fit and how 9 out of 10 of today's kids will grow up to have a dangerous amount of fat in their bodies which looks like stop-motion. It's great animation.

The internet is a fascinating thing, but it is so underused.

Yeah, when Bert corrected me I double checked on wikipedia and IMDB, since wikipedia isn't always right.

I'm sorry. mini/sad I just heard somewhere that it was CGI.

Re: Stop-Motion on TV

I know it is so baby-ish, but Little People is Stop-motion... My sister watched it 20 times today, and its pretty hard not to look up and see its stop-motion.
Also, Jojo's circus is stop-motion.
It's too bad they don't have more stop-motion shows...

Re: Stop-Motion on TV

For those of you that live in the UK, have you guys noticed an increase in the number of stop motion animation adverts?
Such as the Cadbury Creme Egg Ads. By the way, I was not aware that the person (Chris Cairns) who created these ads or the company he works for.

Also, Tony Mines of Spite Your Face fame has been busy making ads as well.
